HUBEI WUDANG MOUNTAIN AIRPORT TO BUILD INTERNATIONAL TERMINAL
International Business News – An international terminal will be built in the Wudang Mountain Airport, Shiyan City of Hubei Province, local media reported today.
With a planned investment of 367 million yuan, the project will complete in 24 months. It is expected to handle 300,000 passengers every year after completion.
Wudang Mountain is a world-famous tourist destination. The international terminal will lay a foundation for the opening of international tourism routes in the future, and will further optimize the comprehensive transportation system of western Hubei in the long run.
In 2021, Wudang Mountain Airport handled about 1.13 million passengers, which was ranked 91st among 248 civil airports in the country and 5th among seven civil airports in the province.
