Kazakhstan interpreter Din-Mukhamed: Belt and Road greatly boasts my career
After graduating from the Beijing Jiaotong University in 2015, Konakbayev Din-Mukhamed, 27, returned to his hometown of Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, working for Kedentransservice JSC. In May 2018, he found a new opportunity and became an interpreter at the China-Kazakhstan logistics base in Lianyungang city, Jiangsu Province.
Through the combined sea-rail transportation, the logistics base allows cargos from Kazakhstan and other Central Asian countries to go east and enter the international market, and goods from Japan, South Korea, Southeast Asia, Australia and other countries and regions to travel all the way west to the vast hinterland of Central Asia.
