Anhui delays social insurance payments till year-end
East China’s Anhui province will continue to exempt small, medium-sized and micro enterprises from paying social security fees through the end of this year to help them tide over the COVID-19 epidemic, local authorities said on Thursday.
The province has extended the collection period of the basic pension, unemployment insurances and work-related injury insurances to the end of this year for hard-hit companies, allowing them to delay their payments without any overdue fine, according to the Anhui Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security.
Such social insurance items that should be covered by large enterprises were cut by half from February to June.
The province has rolled out a slew of policies to help local enterprises overcome difficulties, including reducing their burdens of loans, taxes, rent and social insurance premiums.
